Hey guys, in this post I thought of gathering some new affirmation to not only help out myself but maybe someone else out there needs this push. Lately, I have been just feeling down and lower than normal. I wake up feeling as what is the purpose of the day and the rest of the week. The feeling of, not doing enough or being less motivated to do about anything. I wanted to start being more mindful and working on things for myself and by myself. We can only live the life we give ourselves. If there something you want to change, you have to be the one to push yourself to go out and make those changes.

What is an affirmation?

An affirmation is a positive or negative statement meant to be true.

Affirmations are important parts of keeping a positive growth mindset going for a long period. As we go through our daily life many of them can be natural or on purpose. 

Affirmations are statements that you make to be true

An example would be, say you’re trying to focus on becoming calmer during stressful situations. 

 Affirmation: “My inner world is calm, I always feel at peace.”

When you have this as your affirmation you are working your mindset to become calm during the stressful situation you encountered. You are constantly thinking about being calm, that you start to be calm, or your brain is like, “Hey you remember what you said this morning” and you’ll remember, “My inner world is calm, I always feel at peace.”

Long, before you subconsciously building actions to work on your goal.


What are the benefits of daily affirmations?

  • Change the mindset
  • Become more positive
  • Develop healthy positive habits
  • Cut out negative habits
  • Change the patterns of toxicity in your life

After, a few weeks of working on your positive, new, and present statements they’ll become your new healthy habit. Habits are not also enough to create change, you also need to feel your affirmations. Embrace this feeling. Believe your affirmations when you tell yourself. Affirmations have a lot to do with the law of attraction and how what you put in the universe will come back to you, whether negative or positive. SO this means, stop self-sabotaging and putting yourself down. When you are working towards your goal, express your gratitude for the little things.

TIP: Try to start a gratitude journal as well when you are starting out.

When something made you happy. When something or someone made you feel special. When you find that $20 bill in a load of laundry. I know that made you feel lucky or richer. lol.

The Universe is listening. Embrace those feelings!

Easy ways you can use your affirmation in your daily life

  1. Write your affirmation every day in a journal.
  2. State your affirmation during your morning meditation/exercise. 
  3. Write it on a post-it and display in a different location
    • Fridge
    • At work
    • Mirror
    • On the front door

4. Display on devices

    • On your phone- wallpaper or lock screen
    • On your computer

5. Repeat to family or friends (“Praise what you preach”)

I do not recommend using more than maybe 3. As you incorporate more and more to your daily routine, you lose focus on others, or you don’t even remember which ones you’re focusing on, and then you’re back at point A.

Tips to help maximize the benefits

  • Repetition. Start your day, every day with your affirmations.
  • Actively replace negative thinking with your positive affirmation.
  • Use in the present tense as if you’re already believing and living it 
  • If you’re new, commit to 30 days 
  • Write it down
